Statement of purpose

The Support Services Division at the Jesus Lord of the Harvest Fellowship exist for a four-fold ministry:

  • To provide the necessary logistics for the fulfilment of the vision of the whole JLHF
  • To provide auxiliary personnel for the efficient and productive running of the organization
  • To provide information and communicate the same about the organization both internally and externally
  • To provide advise and services for the business management side of theorganization

Philosophy of ministry

  1. Every believer looks only to God because He is the real employer.
  2. Money follows ministry that serves and does the job as unto the Lord.
  3. God is a rewarder of those who faithfully serve Him in any way we can.
  4. Contrary to common belief, money is not the problern that hinders an individual to fulfill his destiny but instead it is leadership.
  5. Provision for the vision is in the place where the vision is.

Strategy of ministry

The Support Services Division is a subset of the ten-fold strategy of ministry of JLHF namely:

Program

The support services division covers about eighty percent of the administration of the organization and serves as the bolts and nuts for the other major divisions of ministries in the church.

The division is further divided into five departments:

Finance ministry
Income Generation (increased receipts and fundraising activities), budgeting, accounting, petty cash, finance ministry treasurer

General services
Hall/decoration, transportation, fellowship needs, building

Research and Information
Newsletter, database of the church

Personnel services
Still being developed

Public relations
Still being developed

The division coordinates almost eighty percent of the business management side of the organization and always puts into the forefront the overall picture/vision/thrust of the church.

Support Service Group adheres to the following principles:

  1. He who is faithful in little will be faithful in much.
  2. God is looking for wise investors in the kingdom.
  3. Giving and receiving is a cycle.
  4. Confidence precedes competence.
  5. Planning is spiritual.
